The bear weighs 1101 lbs. as of January 15 and grows a pound a day. Dakota, who possesses a full set of claws and fangs, will face Menaldi at 4:30 p.m. on May 1 at a site to be named later, like get Cowboy Football Stadium or Las Vegas Stadium. The bear has never wrestled in a large venue and has a full set of fangs and claws. "My bear is going to chew that boy up like there's no tomorrow," proclaimed Dakota's manager, Dr. John Sladek.

Menaldi, 35, who bench presses 500 lbs. and once wrestled a bear in Abilene, Texas, and won insists he's ready though admittedly is having second thoughts. "I think that bear doesn't like me, he tore my shirt off, clawed me and threw me around - basically was rude," Menaldi said describing their brief encounter.
